Welcome to Lessons from the Cockpit. I'm glad you've discover this blog and appreciate the time you've invested here. My name is Christopher Laney and I live in Greensboro, North Carolina with my wife and three sons. Lessons from the Cockpit combines two passions: flying and writing. I've learned a lot about myself and life over the past few years, courtesy of the flying as well as navigating around—and sometimes through—the storms that can pop up in one's life. My hope is these pages will help you gain new insights to old problems and possibly view the world from a different perspective. When I tie down my plane and walk away after a flight, I'm often exhilarated, sometimes introspective, but always appreciative of life. Perhaps the stories written here will generate the same effect for you as a reader.
